The Argyle Inn is situated in the quaint country town of Taralga NSW - 249kms south west of Sydney, 45 kms north of Goulburn.
The Inn is the oldest trading hotel in Taralga, first built in 1875. It was recently lovingly restored to retain its original Victorian features.
The perfect distance for a mini break from the city, The Argyle Inn offers a restaurant, sourcing local produce, plus eight guest rooms.
The owners are committed to sustainability. A large solar PV system was incorporated into the renovation. With limited local EV charging infrastructure, the owners seized the opportunity of the NSW Government EV destination charging grant funding.
Three quarters of the EV hardware installation was funded by the grant.
The investment and government funding has proved lucrative - attracting EV drivers to the Inn for accommodation and a destination to have a great meal.
